Car Idles rough and shakes alot and sometimes stalls out when trying to go...

...our make a sharp turn! Help Please! In my 02 Dodge Neon I noticed it is now stalling on me. It idles really rough and shakes when in park and I noticed taking a sharp turn it shakes more. Is there anything I can personally do to stop this? What causes this?!
