For me, here is why:1. CHEAPER houses. You can buy mansions for almost "pennies on the dollar". If you're buying a house, this is a great time to do it. Very cheap.2. Stop rapid urbanization of towns. For me personally, I have seen several small towns undergoing HUGE urbanization with many housing developments sprouting up everywhere making these beautiful towns turn into urban centers w/no identity. I am glad this is halting the vast growth of these greedy real estate people. I like small towns, not vast urban centers. Not to mention more environment is preserved, and more living space.3. Illegal immigration is curbing. There is no "economic" need for them now. There is no excuse. There is no reason to be here. This will force some(if not many) to leave.Anyone have any opinions on this or would like to comment?

nooo it's not good. nobody's buying, everyone's saving their money, and our economy is based on consumerism so it hurts the economy. not to mention all the families who are foreclosing and losing their houses.

A failing economy headed for another great Depression is really no cause for celebration. Now is not a good time to buy because the decline has just begun. Buy gold.
