Default Sharp pain in vagina?

I am only 30.5 weeks preg and every now and then I'll get a really sharp pain in my vagina, and lately I have also been getting period like aching for the past few days or so...should I be concerned?

Its just you ligiments stretching in your uterus. No need to be worried but get used to it lol, the pain is probably going to stay until you give birth b/c the baby is growing.

If the period like pain is just aching, don't be worried. Once that period pain turns into cramps, see your doctor soon. Even Braxton Hicks contractions feel nothing like labor pain and labor pain feels just like menstrual cramps. Just so you know.

I get the sharp pain in my vagina that started at 30 weeks after my baby dropped. It's nothing to worry aboutin fact it's a good thing..your body preparing for delivering baby.I got the pains when I stood up and was walking.I am 35 weeks now and still get then..not as often....but sometimes they are a sharper shooting pain

According to the book "what to expect when your expecting" this could be a sign of preterm labor. I would call your OB and let him or her know what is going on. They may want you to go to the hospital and get checked. It says in here if you experience any of the following to call your doctor. Menstrual like cramps with or without diarrhea, nausea, or indigestion...Lower back pain or pressure or a change in the nature of lower backache...An achiness or feeling of pressure in the pelvic floor...A change in your vaginal discharge, particularly if it is watery or tinged or streaked pinkish or brownish with blood...Rupture of membranes...God Bless and I hope everything turns out ok.
