Default Sharp pain under ribcage?

I'm having this sharp, stabbing like pain at the bottom and just under my ribcage. It hurts if I breathe in too deeply or if I move my stomach at all. I was eating and sitting down just before. Is this anything serious or not?And they just went away -___-. But what was causing this pain?Ah okay ^^. Thanks for the answers. It was on the left side, so it was probably air bubbles

Don't listen to Esfahan, its not AIDS, its just over-worked yourself. It's like a cramp. I've gotten those throughout my whole life.

I don't think it is AIDS. Could be gallbladder is it under your right rib cage? Were you eating a fatty meal? Look up biliary colic and see if that fits the description of what is going on. If it is on the left then it probably is something we call splenic flexure pain. Air bubbles get trapped there. You can try standing on your head for that.

Possibly your gall bladder. Google it and see if any of the symptoms sound correct. Hope you feel better :-)

Depends on what side it's on--the left is pancreas the right gall bladder, gas can be on either side, heart burn. If it drops you to your knees it's gall bladder!

It could be cramps, or air bubbles as you said. I once had a pain in the same place but on my right side and it turned out that I had costochondritis. If it still hurts after a couple of days you should see a doctor. It's probably not very serious, though.
