I purchased a Siemens Toaster on ebay and it seemed to work fine but when i lower the bread rack to begin heating the toast the safety cut off switch in my main fuse box flicks and turns off all power to the sockets.No matter what socket in my house i try it is the same result.Any advice from electricians out there would be appreciated.Cheers Steve

your toaster has a partial elecrical short circuit. Throw it away.

I hope you didn't pay too much for it cuz you're gonna be throwing it away or repairing it. It is dangerous in its present condition.
