my laptop used to run the sims 2 perfectly fine















then one day my ;aptop crashed and i turned it off by the button and when i turned it back on it wouldn't load :O















so my brother re-booted the laptop















and when he did that when i turned it on its did the routine it did when i first had it















so everything was wiped of and i had to put msn the sims etc. on there again















but i installed everything and when i went to play the sism 2















it says"Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacurer. The application will now terminate"































it happened about 3-4 months ago when my laptop did this















and still after that long it won't play the sims 2















i love the sims 2 and really want to play it what can i do to let my laptop play it gain ?

Find out what kind of graphics card you have and install the latest drivers for it.

If you don't have either a NVIDIA or ATi graphics card then it's probably some integrated Intel super accelerat0r. In that case go to [url]http://www.windowsupdate.com/[/url] and install whatever drivers are available for your laptop. If DirectX whatever is available, install that too. If none of that works, you're screwed.
