- You can be in bad luck and its a hardware-error, but if not reinstalling the driver-software can du the trick. You should have a CD delivered with the PC that includeds all the driver or it will be load into a dir on your C-drive. On my own it's 'C:\Addon'.

You can also download the newest driver avalable from this page:

http://support.fujitsu-siemens.com/com/support/downloads.html

To reinstall:

1. right-click select 'My Computer' and select 'Propertis

2. Select the flipp named 'Hardware

3. Select 'Device manager'

4. Check it therea are any devices with questionmarks.

If there are you can try to just replace the driver, if a not, a complete reinstall can be done from 'FSC_SoundRealtekAC97Audioxx' from drive og downloadet. (xx=some number depending on model).

If this don't work you can add a cheap soundcard via the Cardbus- or USB-interface.
