YES, because both PCs are using ddr-sdram. In case they do not have the same speed, BIOS will just synchronize the speeds to that of the slowest.The performance gain from the increase in system RAM could outweigh the slight reduction in memory speed. Memory speed difference would hardly be noticeable in web surfing, office applications, downloading and MP3 playing. It may be noticeable in games but overall performance of games would still depend more on the graphics card.
