Why does my Fujitsu Siemens P4 Notebook get stuck?

Hello, I hv Fujitsu Siemens AMILO D7830 model P4 laptop. I face a problem with my notebook, it gets stuck while I work. So can some1 tell me why does it get stuck during working? I hv installed a fresh WinXP. & I hv also installed AVG Anti virus package into my notebook. I properly update WinXP & AVG, but still it gives me the same problem.
