how can i unlock my sony ericsson z300a?

is the phone closed? u may need to flip/slide it open to unlock it

You need your 4 digit code to unlock it. I am not sure if the sim card will work, does the ericson even have a sim card?

go online ... they sell unlock codes for about 5 to 10 dollars.

you have to call at&t or t-mobile (idk who you have it with) and request a unlcok sim code. if youre a customer of them for more than 90 days (for both companies) they'll give it to u. just tell them youre going overseasno you cant put a tracfone sim in it because tracfones are diffrent from regular sim phones. tracfone has the prepaid software installed into the phones hardware and without the software, the sim does not work. in other words ur stuck with that tracfone
