where do the earphones go in a sony ericsson w580i?

i know this is a really dumb question and i feel really dumb asking it but i just purchased a sony ericsson w580i cellphone and it has a music player and came with earphones. but i just cant find the place to insert the earphones in. so can u please help me if u have this phone or know anything about that? thank you

The charging port and the earphone port are the same. Insert into the charging port.
