...which costs, how much is it? I'm considering getting a Sony Ericsson W960i on O2 contract which is fine, but I've heard that to play videos you have to pay for an extra piece of software - is this true?If it is, how much? Also, I'm not sure if I would want this phone if it's going to cost any extra so what are the best smartphone alternatives with touchscreen, internet and large storage?What's the actual name of the "Pro" software please canned? It's just to keep my options open and see what's available for it. I can convert to MP4 as well if that's all it needs but want to see what this software will actually do as well Thanks for your help so far!

yes. i have the w960i on a £40 o2 contract and yeah the program they provide only transfers songs and pics, and to transfer media you will have to buy a pro version of the sofware. but you can just as easily encode your videos to work on your phone. Magic is the converter i use (in mp4 format at a rate of 1500, 29fps, qvga and it seems to work fine. i just copy and paste the finished video to the corresponding folder on my phone via the explorer (go to my computer and you will find your phones drive. this worked ok for me hope it works for you. and this phone is just too good and the videos have tv quiality. nodoubt they might be better if you brought the pro version but it seeems like a rippoff since we sould get that for free.
