If I did NOT get the internet add on for the tmobile shadow i know that i wouldnt be able to do internet and email. But would i be able to go on aim instant messaging and bluetooth and stuff?

Actually if your phone has the AIM application where you can select it out of your menu, then you can go on AIM without having an Internet plan. It uses text messages like crazy though so beware! Each line that is entered and received each counts as a used text message so hopefully you have a good plan or unlimited... & bluetooth is free too. Hope that helps =]
