Can I buy iphone from att, cancel, then jailbreak/use with t-mobile?
I want to buy an Apple Iphone 3GS 16gb for cheap. Sure, ive gone on craigslist, ebay, younameit but it's still a bit out of my budget. I was wondering if I could buy from ATT, cancel the contract, jailbreak/unlock it, then use it? I'm sure that this method would be all too easy to get an iphone for cheap... Is there something I am missing here? btw, i am T-Mobile SIM card...
how much money total would an iphone 3gs 16gb cost me if i went the att contract, canceled n payed the 175 after a month? would it be 100+175+70(monthly fee)=$345? since 3gs's r going for 600 on craigslist, isnt atnt route the best?
