Best qwerty phone for t mobile currently?

i would mainly use it for text and internet and pics. i dont really need a music player. im inclined to go with the sidekick slide but only becuase i like the slide out keyboard. i know they offer other qwerty phones, would you suggest i go with that, or something else. please keep it around 250 or less.also does t mobile reqire a deposit when your credit it bad?
