How to activate Telus Pay as You Go phone?

My uncle bought a new phone (Motorola W385) from Telus (it's a pay as you go phone) and I have no idea how to activate it, he wants me to help. My cousin (his son) works at future shop and the idiot won't pick up

( i like calling him an idiot, but anyways he could help). I need to activate it online, but I can only go so far when this protocol bumbo-jumbo stops me. How do you activate it? Or any suggestions? help!
