I was in the same situation a month or so ago and I need to get a phone cause mine broke and was in the middle of a plan, so I bought a Razr on Ebay, they have lots of cell phones on there, anyway I got mine for $48 dollars and it works great, you can buy new or used, so give it a look you might find something there.
