I have the Verizon card, and that is all that I use. I have never had a problem with it, and is just as fast as a home broadband if not a little faster. I have used it pretty much all over the united states, andhaven't found a place that it didn't work well. Even during the firestorms in California, after the floods down in Luesanna.

Im looking for the same type of thing for my Dell. But research other providers if you are not hard set on Verizon. Sprint is good, and ATT is another choice. From what I know, they speeds are still very good with broadband wireless. A good DSL modem on a home computer goes up to 2-3 Mbs, while wireless usually tops out at around 1.4 Mbs. But either way, thats still super fast and considering you are not wired and can use it anywhere, its excellent. From the people I've worked with at my office that have those types of connections, they can use it for our always on applications with no issues. Always on meaning, that you need a full time connection to the internet with no drop outs in order to use the application. So I know it works well. Verizon has a large network but I think Sprint is even larger. Check each providers web page to see what they say for prices and coverage.
