Verizon Wireless service??

I want to get a verizon wireless phone , and where i live which is sort of in the sticks , (Its by the famous Hopewell Rocks in New Brunswick, Canada.) and i want to know if i can get verizon service out here, i think the only service we can get is Aliant but I still wanna know? how do i find out??
