Default Verizon Tour or Verizon Curve?

I'm getting a new phone, and I'm unsure about which phone I'd like to have. I need to know what others think first. (:

I've heard there are problems with texting on the Curve. Some people say it takes one minute to send a text message, and up to two minutes to send a picture message. I have the Verizon Dare right now, and I love the texting. It's fast.

I'm in need of some advice! Help me out? (:

Thank you.

We're both in the same boat, well kinda. I'm not looking at the curve or the tour, but am on verizon and looking at a couple of their recently released phones.

I've been looking at phones for months, reading what's come out, what's coming and until now, there hasn't been a phone worthy of my attention. I'm not a phone snob, I just want a phone that is functional and meets my needs. Not too much to ask, right?!

I've seen a few good phones from other carriers, but...

I like the functionality of the iPhone but don't like the social stigma with it, don't like the network or that fact that it won't let me customize it the way I want it. Hopefully the Droid line will satisfy me there.

I've had phones from motorola, nokia, but primarily LG. I LOVE texting on LG's. It works, it's easy, the predictive text is awesome.

I was looking at the storm a year ago, but after reading about all of the problems I said no to that. The storm 2 is still a consideration. Until I hear more about the Motorola Droid, until it's been tested by the users and some updates get applied to it, such as multitouch and tethering, I can't honestly recommend it.
