For Verizon Wireless, would you choose a Blackberry Pearl 8130 or a Blackberry...

...8830 World Edition Smartphone? I know that the Pearl is newer & smaller but are these the only reasons to choose it over the World phone? Would the internet browser be the same on both phones???

This is from an ATT standpoint...The BB Pearl is definitely smaller and lighter. It is also a World Phone. The BB8830 has individual keys on the keyboard for each letter verses the two letters per key on the Pearl. The buttons are slightly larger on the Pearl. Easier to push the correct button first time around. Some of the 8800 series BB's have built in Tele Nav feature that is wonderful! with the Pearl, you have to purcahse a separate item to mount in your vehicle. Ugh! Much easier to have it built in.Go to www.blackberry.com and comapre the two models you are looking at. Also, look for the owner's lounge on their website for some additional information. the BB site is fabulous! take a little time and look around. They have great information on it form Technical support to shopping!Enjoy your new phone whichever you decide on.

Blackberry Pearl 8130 --bc i like its style and size.its efficient without the bulky PDA size.
