Verizon's enV QWERTY keyboard?

I want to get an enV, but not sure if my parents will let me text message or go online. What else can I do with the keyboard? Will there be a point in having the keyboard even though I can't text message?

Well I know people with an EnV but I don't see the point of having on if u can't text or go online.

I have an EnV, and in all honesty there is no reason to have a Keyboard phone, other then text or online. I text alot, I send about 500 a day so yeah thats why i have one lol.- Brit.
