My cell phone got wet at a track meet this evening. The sticker on the battery is white with tiny pink x's and the sticker on the phone is white with little purple x's. Is this normal? Also, the phone won't start up. When I try to charge it, it sounds like a tv without cable. Is there anything I can do beside taking the battery out and letting it dry? Also, if it does not end up working, what should I tell Verizon to try and get a replacement without shelling out $200+? Thanks in advance!I've had the phone for about a year and a half. I didn't purchase any extended warranties.

call verizon and tell them you don't know what's wrong with your phone, don't tell them it got wet, if you have the phone for less than a year then you still have warranty on the phone so they should send you a new phone to your house by mail. once you get your replacement phone you would have to send back your defective phone. so just call them and tell them you don't know what's wrong with your phone, they're gonna ask you about the stickers so just tell them the truth and what color are they. good luck
