I have had NOTHING but probs with my KRZR. It is only a year old. My service provider is charging an extra deductable (normally 50.00, for the KRZR's it's 100.00!!!) We have other samsung products (mp3, etc) and have had NO probs at all. As of today I think my KRZR is totally shot. I have taken care of it, too. No dropping, no water damage, etc. I was thinking of getting a Samsung next. The KRZR's look nice and are handy, when they work.
